Today the first team reach the final of the Betts Memorial Trophy when they beat Eastgate 5-2 aet, the welsh score first in the opening minutes, a free kick was play into the box and Paul Challis opened the scoreing and a second goal follow by Danny Bree so the welsh were 2-0 up at half time, in the second half Eastgate came back into the game and following mix up by Sam Mills and Rob Challis, Eastgate scored to make the game 2-1, and Eastgate scored again with four mins left to play in the match to make the game level. In the first half of extra-time there was no goals and in the second half of extra-time JP come on as a sub, and it was him you break the game open, as he run on to a through ball and with Eastgate defender trying to pull him back, but JP hold him off and then round the keeper to score, he then scored again after a cross from the left and JP complete his hat-trick with a goal from the spot, the Welsh will now played Dartford Royals in the final.

The Welsh scored in the opening minutes with a fine goal scored by Jack Wilson, but the scored goal was the goal of the season by Andy Jones which was a fine volley by Andy Jones from the edge of the area and a third goal follow from the spot by Lee Hergest, Bexley Eagles pull a goal back before half time to make the score 3-1, in the second half two more goals for the welsh were from Darren Chambers and Jason Chambers plus another goal by Bexley Eagles

Arnold and May Beckley Trophy

Three first half goal was enough to see the welsh through to the final, two goals from John Ashdown and one from Paul Challis, in the second half there was no goal, but there was a fine penalty save by the welsh keeper Sam Mills.
