DECEMBER • | Dartford Celtic (H) | Sunday 13 December Welsh Tavern Reserves 1 Dartford Celtic 0 Premier Division Half Time 0-0 Welsh Tavern Reserves: Scamp, Faulkner, Jones, Hergest, B.Webb (Rains), D.Chambers, Proberts, Beattie, Huffer, Apps (Hedger), J.Chambers, Sub Not Used: D.Webb Reserves win again!!!. The reserves secured a hard fought victory this week against Dartford Celtic, the game was an open and free flowing affair with both sides creating and missing chances!!! We took the lead from a corner with Hergo swinging in a deep one to the far post which DC hit first time on the volley and Clayton"goal snatcher"Probets stole in at the far post to tap in!!. The game then really started opening up and really should of been put to bed before half time but Appsy had a week to forget missing at least 8 gilt edged chances!! He wasn't the only 1 though. It then took a wonder save from the monk in goal to keep the scores level going into the half time break. The half time whistle blew with the game still in the balance and everyone had to dig deep in the second half to secure the win even Ben"treacle"Webb had a good game!! But a special word must go to the claw who had an absolute blinder between the sticks and seems to be getting better with every game! We haven't got a game this week but there's talk of Duncan treating us all to a bit of brekkie in the cafe before the 1st team game to pay us all back for letting him willy watch all season!!! so get yourself down the pub and let's hit him in the pocket!! The glory train rolls on and on!!.
